The RA automatic transfer switch, designed to integrate seamlessly with the RS series generator sets, is certified under UL 1008, a benchmark for Transfer Switch Safety. This combination of switch and generator set is engineered for an efficient and swift installation process.

Compliant with UL 1008, these switches are well-suited for standby power systems in both residential and light commercial environments. The RA series meets the standards of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), ensuring adherence to safety and quality regulations.

The RA transfer switch is vigilant around the clock, monitoring utility power throughout the week. In cases where utility power is inadequate or absent, it signals the generator set to commence operation and then autonomously transfers the power load. Upon the restoration of stable utility voltage, the switch automatically reverts the electrical load from the generator back to the utility supply, requiring no manual intervention from the homeowner.

Additionally, the RA switch series includes models suitable for service entrances. These variants not only comply with UL 1008 standards but also incorporate a UL 489 listed circuit breaker.
