Cummins® generator sets are fully integrated power generation systems providing optimum performance, reliability and versatility for stationary Standby applications.
This generator boasts a resilient design and rigorous testing, ensuring its capability to function in extreme environmental conditions. It is certified in accordance with the latest EPA and UL standards for reliability and safety.
The engine is a sturdy 4-cycle industrial diesel, known for delivering dependable power and a swift response to fluctuating loads.
The alternator is available in various sizes, offering selectable motor starting capabilities. It features low reactance 2/3 pitch windings for minimal waveform distortion with non-linear loads and is capable of clearing short-circuits efficiently.
The control system is comprehensive, integrating the entire generator set with features like automatic remote start/stop, precise frequency and voltage regulation, alarms and status displays, output metering, and auto-shutdown in response to faults, all while complying with NFPA 110 Level 1 standards.
The cooling system, a standard feature, ensures consistent operation in ambient temperatures of up to 50 °C (122 °F). Additionally, the generator sets come equipped with coolant heaters to facilitate starting in sub-zero conditions.
Battle Short Mode is a unique feature that allows the generator to bypass certain faults that would otherwise lead to shutdown, enhancing reliability during critical times.
The flexible exercise mode is an innovative feature, allowing the generator to operate according to the customer’s preferred schedule, thus minimizing unnecessary fuel consumption, emissions, and noise.
For maintenance and troubleshooting, the generator is fitted with the Cummins PowerCommand® electronic control, offering industry-leading self-diagnostic capabilities. Furthermore, its critical components are designed for quick and efficient servicing and preventive maintenance.
